White table grapevine

Features:
A very old variety, originally from Asia Minor, belonging to Razaki or Rozaki varieties. It entered Europe about 300 years ago, first in Italy, then in France. In France it was imported from the Beyrouth region by a silk merchant (1833); as the name of the variety is not known, was called Dattier de Beyrouth from the form of grain - like persimmon. It was brought from Bulgaria, where it is considered a native variety.
Very vigorous variety with a 180-210 day vegetation period and high temperature requirements (over 38 degrees C global temperature).
Medium fertility (60-65% of sprouts are fertile) and high productivity. Fertile buds are located midway between eyes 7-15, but maximum fertility is highlighted between eyes 10-15.
It gives very little sprigs on the old wood, which is why the hubs are hard to recover from the climatic accidents.
During blooming it requires a lot of heat (temperatures of 18-20 C), to ensure a good flower's binding fruits.
Ripening grapes begins in the first decade of August, maturing slowly by the end of September or early October.
Biological resistances: low in frost (-16C, -18C), hand, oidium, anthracnose, bacterial cancer; good for drought and gray rot of grapes.
Grape maturing during age V-VI, 4 weeks after Chasselas, and in the southern Romania, grapes maturing much earlier: September 1-15.
The grapes are very nice, with long life on the hump (30 - 40 days), very good resistance to transport and storage in winter.
Accumulates medium amounts of sugars 163 - 165 g / l, and acidity remains balanced, 4.5 - 5.5 g / l H2SO4.
Grape production is high, up to 20-24 t / ha, of which commodity production 75 - 83%.
Rootstock: KOBER 5BB

Features:
The variety is considered to be the most universal of over 5000 table varieties cataloged by ampelographers.
It is at the same time the reference variety for the maturing age of other varieties existing in culture.
Due to the age of maturation and productivity gains, it is preferred by growers and consumers.
Very old variety, known since 1200.
There is a group of Chasselas: Chasselas blanc, Chasselas dore, Chasselas rose, Chasselas violet, Chasselas Queen Victoria, Chasselas Masque, Chasselas persille or Chasselas Ciuotat, etc. The most valuable remains the Chasselas Dore variety that has spread to all the wine countries of the world, becoming a cosmopolitan variety.
The grapes are of medium size, cylindrical-conical, with the first branch of the bunch transformed into a bunch of 2-3 beans. The berry is spherical, medium-sized, green-yellow (golden), with rusty spots on the sunny side. Juicy, crispy pulp, taste-specific to the variety (Chasselas taste).
Variety with a medium period of vegetation 150-160 days, during which it requires 28-30° C global temperature.
It has low energy, high fertility and productivity (75-80% fertile sprouts), the average number of inflorescences on the sprout is 2-3.
The variety easily emits sprouts of multi-year old wood, so that the hubs quickly recover from climatic accidents.
Biological resistances: good for frost (-20, -22 C) and drought, very sensitive to manna and eutilia, tolerance to oidium, gray rot and grape moths.
With high environmental plasticity, it adapts to climate conditions in all wine regions of the country.
The best results are obtained in the sub-Carpathian hills, with sunny exhibitions and skeletal soils.
In fertile soils flat areas, the commercial value of grapes decreases: the grapes remain green, with frequent grains, and the pulp becomes juicy.
In vineyards in the south of the country, the Chasselas Dore sorts the grapes consumption earlier, at the end of August - early September; in other wine-growing zones, between September 10-15.
Grape production is high, up to 20 t / ha and even more, of which 70-80% production. The grapes accumulate medium amounts of sugars (150-160 g / l) in the context of a balanced acidity of 4.5-5.5 g / l of H2SO4. That's why wine can be vinified, making light, very balanced table wines.

The maturing period, beginning-mid September.
Vine varieties with biological resistance, these grapes are one of the most tasty, healthiest, most nutritious fruits, but as cultivation is a plant that requires a lot of work to prevent and combat disease and pests by using pesticides and insecticides, substances that seriously damage human body.
These varieties are unpretentious to the soil, can be grown anywhere, have a vigorous growth, with a large grape production, which requires the provision of soil fertilization and soil moisture to fully satisfy the high requirements of these breeds. The germ resistance of the varieties in this group is generally higher than the noble ones.
The production of these varieties is usually considered as an "organic product", so we can have an organic fruit, an organic stum or wine and we can lead a healthier life.
Planting resistant varieties is ideal for those who do not have the time to cultivate vineyards every day but still want a healthy and tasty fruit for the family and especially for children. We like to be proud of the fruits we produce, which are always the most tasty and that we know they are not over-treated, because it depends only on us. The invaluable value of grape varieties that produce table grapes consists in the fact that during the ripening period grapes should not be sprinkled with any substance because it is not necessary. This way it is possible to consume and enjoy the incredible richness of these fruits in vitamins and minerals that are so necessary to the human body.

Rootstock: KOBER 5BB

Features:
Hybrid variety obtained by crossing Cardinal x Azuf Ali white. The hybridization took place in Bucharest, by Victoria Lepadatu. The selection works continued at the Dragasani Wine Research Center, the variety being approved in 1978.
It is one of the most valuable Romanian table grapes variety. It is remarcably early, but especially very beautiful grapes and highly productive.
As a genotype, it has the heterosis attributes for the size of the bunches and berries, which are clearly superior to those in the parental varieties.
Victoria has a medium-high vigor, good fertility (63-73% fertile sprouts) and very high productivity due to the size of the grapes. Biological resistances: good for frost (-18C-20C) and drought; behaves well against brumishes and spring frosts, due to late decomposition; medium resistance to diseases and pests.
Victoria variety is cultivated with good results on the fertile grounds at the base of the slopes, with well-drained soils.
Grape maturate in the 2nd age, the shelf life of grapes is high, about 30 days. Grape production is high, over 16-18 t / ha, of which 83-85% production. At consumer maturity, grapes accumulate 140-150g / l of sugars and the acidity is relatively low.
