Plum STANLEY
Tree characteristics:

American variety derived from the crossbreeding of Agen x Grand Duke, introduced in culture in 1926.

The medium-strength tree, with small increases garnished with short and medium-sized formations. Come quickly into fruit (4th year after planting), productive.

The variety is self-fertile, at the same time being a very good pollinator.


Fruit characteristics:

The mid-sized fruit of 35-45g, has the ellipsoidal shape, with the obvious carpel welding.

The skin is violet and the pulp is yellowish, with a mediocre taste.

Pollinators: Rivers Timpuriu, Agen, Anna Spath, Gras Ameliorat.

Harvesting season: at the end of August, beginning with the fall, after the Tuleu Gras variety.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Rootstock: MIROBOLAN (corcoduș)


Plum SILVIA
Tree characteristics:

Native variety obtained from artificial hybridization between Renclod Althan x Early Rivers, approved in 1978.

Medium force tree, with pyramidal growth, with skeleton branches garnished with short fruit formations (may bouquets).

It blooms early and is partially self-fertile, good pollinator for other varieties.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is 55 grams, of ellipsoidal shape, Renclod Althan type, with purple color, covered with blue prussia, abundant.

The pulp is white-yellowish, juicy, with a pleasant taste, non-stickiness.

Pollinators: Anna Spath, Stanley, Renclod Althan, Rivers timpuriu.

Harvesting season: in the middle of August, close to the same period as the Centenary variety.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Rootstock: MIROBOLAN (corcoduș)


Plum PRESIDENT
Tree characteristics:

The tree has medium force.

Rare flat crown.

Early and abundantly fruiting.


Fruit characteristics:

Fruits are large or very large: 40-55g, elongated, rounded.

Dark purple bark.

Yellow-green, juicy, hard, acidic pulp non-adherent at full maturity.

It's self-sterile. Pollinators: Bluefre, Sermina, Muscat de Debrecen.

Harvesting season: in the middle of September.

Planting season: February - April and October - December.

Tree characteristics:

The tree has medium force.

Crown flattened, rare. Come early bearing, with high productivity.

Autofertil.

It is recommended for fresh consumption, delicious cakes, compote and drying.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruits are very large: 45-60g, cylindrical, with both rounded, asymmetrical heads.

Dark blue-black, pear-colored bark.

Yellow-green, hard, sweet-sour, very tasty pulp, non-stickiness.

Harvesting season: at the beginning of September.

The tree is medium-high force, with fragile wood and small insertion angles, fructifies on medium-sized branches. It is often ramified, often crowding the crown. It is androsterile and sensitive to moniliosis. It has great ecological plasticity, capitalizing almost all areas. It has no good affinity on the wax cherry. It is considered the best kind, long sought on export.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is medium, oval, symmetrical or slightly asymmetrical. The epicarp is thin, bluish-red, covered uniform with pruin, blue. In the peduncle area the epicarp shows thin lines of suber (Rust) that goes down from the middle of the fruit stalk, which can be seen by deleting lines bloom. The stalk is short, and the high-point gray-brown stylar is located close to the central axis in the extension of the fruit.

Harvesting season: the second half of August.

Characteristics:

Originating in Serbia.

Harvesting season: mid-August.

Tree characteristics:

The tree is quite vigorous and on May bouquets and medium branches.

It is autosterile but good pollinator, often used in the pollination scheme.


Fruit characteristics:

Fruits are large or very large, spherical, slightly flattened at the ends.

The color is pink - violet on most surfaces and green - yellow in the shaded area.

The pulp is golden-yellow, juicy, very sweet, non-stickiness.

Harvesting season: end of August - beginning of September.

Tree characteristics:

The tree is vigorous, fructifies on medium branches, blooms late and is self-fertile.


Fruit characteristics:

The fruit is medium, 20-22 g, ellipsoid, more convex on the ventral, transport-resistant. The epicarp is elastic, resistant, honey-colored, covered with a thick white-blue pruine.

The pulp is yellowish-green, with a faint reddish hue, fleshy, mild or succulent, sweet and harmonically acidified, finely aromatic and weakly astringent, non-stickiness, appreciated for fresh consumption or industrial processing.

Harvesting season: end of September - beginning of October
